A Future and A Hope is an Israeli registered non-profit organization (#58-041701-2) established to speak hope to this generation by bringing truth into a lie-filled environment. Established in 2004, our goals include providing up-to-date information to the public about all aspects of abortion and its consequences, sexually-transmitted diseases, birth control, post-abortion syndrome; increasing public awareness and encouraging development of educational programs for youth to deal with and correct the widespread misconceptions about sex and sexuality, as well as about sexual purity and abuse. Our main office is located in a central location in Haifa, close to main bus lines. Our programs are designed to help mothers make a choice for life and to support them in their decision as much as possible.

THE BACKGROUND LEADING TO OUR ESTABLISHMENT
Worldwide, the issue of abortion has become synonymous with a woman’s rights. However, the success of the pro-abortionist’s agenda is laden with misinformation, and the national and personal fallout is horrendous. Since 1950, the worldwide birthrate is down by 50%. One aspect of this movement includes education for safe sex – as early as kindergarten! Yet, according to a 2016 report in the USA regarding sexually transmitted disease (STD) – more people are becoming infected with STDs than ever before (not including AIDs).
Our nations, our children, and even the Church, are buying into soul-destroying lies that destroy relationships and lead to the slaughter of innumerable innocents, leaving behind a host of wounded and hopeless young women and men. A woman fighting post-abortion trauma, or a young person diagnosed with a STD will offer similar testimonies. When asked, “But didn’t you know about…” – across the board their answer will be, “no one told me.”
Israel may be the Biblical Holy Land, but in actuality, Israel today is a microcosm of the world. It has been estimated that, since the founding of the State, close to two million children have been killed via abortion. Sexual freedom has been at the heart of Israeli society since the founding of the Kibbutz movement. Today, tragically, Israel is a world leader in the LBGT community.
WHERE IS THE HOPE?
The words of the prophet Jeremiah are as relevant today as they were to the Jewish people sent into exile. Despite the state of the people’s present rebelliousness and sin, God’s rebuke and punishment were accompanied by words of comfort, “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).
As stated above, A Future and A Hope is an Israeli registered non-profit organization established to speak hope to this generation by bringing truth into a lie-filled environment.
Understanding the huge challenges facing a woman in a crisis pregnancy, A Future and A Hope serves as a bridge, enabling her to find the courage to nurture – beyond birth – the life she carries within. In addition to counselling, our First Year of Life Program, provides the essentials for her newborn’s first year, as well as a 12-month financial subsidy to help meet her and her newborn’s needs. Beyond the first year, as the child grows we follow-up with each family, providing ongoing counsel, and meeting specific physical needs.
The mother and child do not live in isolation. There may be other family members involved, not to mention other children. Hence, we seek to help the whole person and the whole family. From helping out with additional children, to house repairs or offering family or marriage counselling, we seek to give unborn children a future, bringing hope not just to them, but their entire family.
TRUTHBEARERS
As mentioned above, A Future and A Hope is committed to fighting the lies disseminated by the world’s agenda by utilizing the rights guaranteed to us here in Israel. To that end we prepare and print brochures relating to abortion, to sexually-transmitted diseases, and to abstinence. We have been invited to speak to children and young adults in Israeli schools from the fifth grade through to the university level. We have shared the New Testament perspectives regarding family-related issues to Jewish religious academics! We have spoken live on radio and been invited to speak at army bases. Outreach to prostitutes has led some to respond, come to our center for counseling, and to ultimately enter into a life-changing relationship with Yeshua their Messiah.
Of all these experiences though, nothing is more heart-breaking than when we are asked to counsel a young woman or family who are professing Christians. Why? Because so many of these families have never received any teaching on proper sexual behavior, abortion, or how to battle the temptations faced in our over sexualized world. Here again, A Future and A Hope is seeking to battle lies that have infiltrated the church. We are often asked to give special workshops for children and/or parents on a variety of topics related to sexuality, purity, and godliness. And when these young people go forth and become truthbearers in their own congregations and community, we are filled with joy.
